Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the website or RoboLawyer, Inc. Services.
RoboLawyer, Inc. respects your privacy. This privacy policy describes how RoboLawyer, Inc., DBA Redwell ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information of users of our websites, and the related content, platform, products, services and other functionality offered through our services (together, "Services"). This privacy policy applies to all of our Services where this privacy policy is referenced, regardless of how you access or use them, including through mobile devices.
This policy applies to information we, and not third parties, collect on the Platform and in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Company.
By accessing or using the Platform, you are agreeing that you understand and agree to the practices described in, and to be bound by, this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time, as described below. Your continued use of the Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy frequently for updates. This Privacy Policy forms part of, and is subject to, the provisions of the Company’s Terms of Use, which collectively form the “Agreement.”

1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We recognize the importance of protecting children's privacy especially in an online environment.  No one under age 18 may provide any information to or through our Services. If you are under age 18, do not use or provide any information to or through the Services.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that someone under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information without prior verifiable parental consent, we will delete such information immediately. 2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information to provide and improve our Services. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Services.

Account Information: We collect information about you when you register for an account by which you may be personally identified, including your name, email address, company name, address, phone number, professional title, bar number and jurisdictional credentials, and other information you provide.

Payment Information: We collect credit card and billing information collected by our third-party payment processor if you sign up for a paid subscription by which you may be personally identified. 

Content Information: We collect information you provide if you contact our customer support services, participate in online surveys, forums, comments sections, social media, sign up for newsletters or other mailing lists, register for events, apply for jobs, or otherwise interact with us. This may include contact information, documents, feedback, correspondence, messages, photos, reviews and any other content you provide.

Usage Information: We automatically collect usage information about your use of our Services like how you use our products, features you use, pages you view, emails you open, links you click, documents you access, and other actions you take when using our Services. This includes logs, API calls to our servers, browser type and settings, operating system, referral URLs, IP address, device information (type, operating system version, device identifiers, regional and language settings), and cookie data.

Location Information: With your permission, we may collect information about the locations where you use our Services for purposes like verifying business locations entered into our products. This may include GPS, WiFi networks, cell tower proximity and other sensor data.

Information from Third Party Services: We may collect information about you from third party services that integrate with our Services such as calendar, email, contact management, communication, and other productivity services. This may include contact information, logins, calendar data, emails and other data needed to enable the integration.

3. HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect the above information through the following methods:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the site or open email communications from us containing tracking pixels. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, web browser preferences, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. Although we do not correlate tracking information to individuals, some information collected, such as IP addresses, will be unique.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users use the Site and enhance your experience when you use the Site.   • Online Tracking and Do Not Track Signals: We and our third party service providers, including Facebook, may use cookies, pixels, or other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of the Site and use that information to send targeted advertisements. Our Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received. If we do respond to DNT signals in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe how we do so.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information about you as mentioned above and as follows:

  • To provide, operate, and improve our Services, perform analytics, and develop new products and services.
  • To enable features and functionality of our Services like accessing, storing, and sharing documents and data with your permission.
  • To send you important information regarding our Services, changes to our terms, conditions, policies and other administrative information.
  • To understand how users interact with our Services so we can improve and enhance the user experience.
  • To provide customized content, targeted offers, and advertising relevant to your interests and location.
  • For recruitment purposes if you apply for a job with us.
  • To respond to comments and questions we receive and provide customer service.
  • To send marketing and promotional communications about products and services offered by us and our partners with your consent.
  • For internal administrative purposes, as well as to manage our relationship with you.
  • To enforce legal rights, comply with regulations, and protect our Services, users and third parties from harm.
  • For any other purposes disclosed to you at the time of collection or pursuant to your consent.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION

We may combine personal information from users and analyze it to understand how users interact with our service overall. We use this aggregate analysis to improve features and the platform. We may also share anonymous user statistics with potential business partners to help grow our service. Aggregate information is collected through the service itself, cookies, and other means described in the privacy policy.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

We may use personal information to contact you about products or services we think you'll find interesting. For example, if you provide an email or phone number, we could send you special offers by those means. You can opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in each email. You can also control marketing messages through your account settings. You can tell us not to send marketing at any time. If you unsubscribe, we won't send promotions but will still contact you about your account as needed.

5. INFORMATION WE SHARE

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information about you in the limited circumstances as described below:

  • With third party service providers and partners who assist us in areas like data processing, storage, security systems, customer support, payment processing, marketing and advertising with appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  • With law enforcement agencies, public authorities or other third parties if legally required to do so, or when we believe such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition where personal information will be one of the transferred assets. We will notify you if such a transfer occurs and require the recipient to only use your information in a manner consistent with this privacy policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction, including if we notify you through our Services that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information.
  • We may share aggregated or de-identified information with third parties that does not directly identify you.

6. SECURITY OF INFORMATION

We have taken steps to protect your personal information from accidental loss or unauthorized access, use, sharing, editing, or disclosure. For example, only users can access their own information by logging in with a unique username and password. When logging in, users also receive an authentication code by text or email through two factor authentication that must be entered along with their password. This information is encrypted during transmission and storage using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology to prevent others from seeing it.
Keeping your information secure also depends on you. You are responsible for keeping your password private since you chose it to access some parts of the site. We ask that you not share your password with anyone and be careful sharing information in public areas of the site.
Transmitting information over the internet is never completely secure, though we work very hard to protect your data. We cannot guarantee the security of personal information sent to the site. Sending information carries your own risk. We are not responsible for any circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the website or Services.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide our Services and for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain some of your information as required by law. When we no longer need to use your information, we will remove it from our systems and records and take steps to promptly anonymize it or delete it.

8. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with certain rights regarding your personal information. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by us to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.   • The right to know the categories of personal information we have collected about you; the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information; the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information; and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • The right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions allowed under the CCPA.
  • The right to opt-out of any "sale" of your personal information that may be occurring.
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your CCPA rights.

To make a request related to your personal information pursuant to the CCPA, please contact us at mike@myrobolawyer.com You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf by providing the authorized agent with power of attorney pursuant to California probate code. We will verify your identity by matching information you provide us to information we have previously collected about you.

9. LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

The Platform may contain links provided by or to third party websites and services.  These links are for the User’s convenience only. We are not responsible for the practices of such third party websites or services. Your use of third party websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for each respective third party website. RoboLawyer, Inc. accepts no responsibility for them or for any losses or damages that may arise from your use of any third-party links or websites. This Privacy Policy only applies to the Company, the Services and the information that we collect.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may modify this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices and service offerings. If we make any material changes to how we treat our Users’ personal information, we will notify you via our website, by email to the most recent email address that you provided us, if any, or other means prior to the changes taking effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.  The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active and deliverable email address for you. You are also responsible for frequently visiting the Services website and this privacy policy to check for any updates and/or changes.
